Overview
Dometic Optimus EPSK1630 SeaStation & SeaWays V200 Flush-Mount Kit adds GPS-based vessel positioning and autopilot capability to a compatible Optimus 360 system. SeaStation can automatically control vessel position, heading, or both, while SeaWays adds integrated autopilot functionality for cruising.

SeaStation Operating Modes
SeaStation uses GPS position and heading information together with the Optimus 360 steering and propulsion controls to automatically manage the vessel.
Heading Mode
SeaStation automatically controls the vessel's heading while allowing its position to drift naturally with wind and current. This can be useful for applications such as drift fishing where maintaining orientation is more important than remaining over one exact GPS position.
Position Mode
SeaStation automatically maintains the vessel near a selected GPS position while allowing the heading to move freely. This is useful when holding over a reef, wreck, fishing spot, or other target area.
Position + Heading Mode
Position Mode and Heading Mode can be engaged together, allowing SeaStation to control both the vessel's GPS position and heading. This provides the greatest level of automatic station keeping.

How Optimus Works
Dometic Optimus is an electronically controlled marine steering and vessel-control platform. Steering and joystick commands are communicated electronically through the Optimus system rather than relying solely on a conventional mechanical connection between the helm and engines.
Operator Input
Steering-wheel and joystick commands are sent electronically into the Optimus control system.
Electronic Control
Optimus processes those commands and coordinates the appropriate steering and vessel-control components.
SeaStation Integration
SeaStation adds GPS position and heading information. Optimus 360 can then use steering, shift, and throttle control to automatically manage the vessel's position and heading.
Because Optimus systems are configured to specific boats, engines, controls, and steering components, replacement parts and upgrades should be matched to the existing system rather than selected by appearance alone.
