Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Seatech Marine Products, Inc. uses customer information to process orders, answer questions, run our website, and send promotional emails. We use Google tools for analytics and advertising. We do not sell customer information for money, send promotional text messages, or create browsing-session recordings. You can manage optional cookies and unsubscribe from promotional emails.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This policy explains how Seatech Marine Products, Inc. (“SeaTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit seatechmarineproducts.com, purchase products, request a quote, or contact us for service or support.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us, information generated when you use our website, and information provided by services that help us operate the store.

  • Contact and account information: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, company information if provided, and information used to create or maintain your store account.
  • Orders and transactions: the products you buy or inquire about, cart contents, quotes, order details, payment and transaction information, shipping details, returns, and warranty or service requests. We process website purchases through our commerce platform and payment providers. Customers may also provide payment-card information by phone or on a credit-card authorization form.
  • Payment authorization and fraud verification: information supplied on a credit-card authorization form, which may include cardholder and billing details, card information, and a signature. For an order that raises fraud concerns, we may request government-issued identification or a copy of an ID to help verify the transaction. This can include your photo and identifying details shown on the document.
  • Customer communications: information you submit through email, live chat, website forms, or other communications with us, including product questions and any files or images you choose to send.
  • Website and device information: IP addresses, browser and device information, cookie and similar identifiers, pages viewed, referral information, interactions with products and links, site search terms, scrolling, video and download activity, form interactions, and approximate location derived from technical information. These analytics describe website activity rather than recordings that replay a visit.
  • Marketing preferences and interactions: your subscription and unsubscribe choices, email delivery and interaction information, and information about whether our advertising leads to a website visit, inquiry, phone call, or purchase. When a Google forwarding number is used, Google may measure details such as the call time, duration, connection status, and caller number.
  • Social sign-in information: if you choose a social sign-in option, the account information the sign-in provider shares with your authorization, such as your name, email address, and account identifier.

We do not create recordings that replay your browsing session. This does not prevent ordinary analytics from measuring page views or prevent us from retaining messages you send to customer support.

3. How we use information

We use information to fulfill purchases and shipping requests; manage accounts, quotes, returns, and service requests; respond to product questions; provide customer support; maintain and improve our website; measure advertising performance; send promotional emails in accordance with applicable law and your choices; prevent fraud and protect our systems; and meet legal, tax, accounting, and other business obligations.

4. How we disclose information

We disclose information to companies that help us provide these services, as needed for their work:

  • Store, payment, and delivery services: BigCommerce, payment providers, shipping carriers, and companies helping us fulfill orders or provide requested product and warranty support.
  • Accounting: QuickBooks, which we use to maintain invoices, transaction history, and other business accounting records.
  • Customer support: Crisp and other tools we use to receive and manage customer communications.
  • Email marketing: Omnisend and related delivery services that help us manage subscriptions, send emails, and understand email and store interactions.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google tools, including Google Analytics and Google Ads, which receive website interaction information and online identifiers to provide measurement and advertising services. Our Analytics property is linked to Google Ads with personalized advertising enabled, and our Google Ads account has audiences based on website visits and purchases. These features can support advertising to people who previously interacted with our site, including on other websites and Google services. Where enabled for conversion measurement and permitted by your privacy choices, Google may also receive hashed versions of your email address, phone number, name, or address to help connect an advertising interaction with a purchase or inquiry. Hashing transforms the details before transmission; it does not make them anonymous.
  • Website operations: hosting, security, technical support, and social sign-in providers, including the PapaThemes social sign-in integration.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect people or our business, at your direction, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.

Customer information and advertising disclosures

We do not sell customer information for money. We do disclose online identifiers and website activity to Google for the advertising and measurement purposes described above. Some privacy laws classify disclosures used for advertising across different websites as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, even when no money changes hands. You can decline optional advertising cookies through the website’s Privacy settings and contact Mike Lamb about an advertising-data opt-out request.

5. Cookies, analytics, and your choices

Our website and service providers use cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar tools. Essential technologies support functions such as shopping carts, checkout, security, and saving privacy choices. Optional technologies support site analytics, additional features such as chat or social sign-in, and advertising measurement or personalization where enabled.

Open Privacy settings in the website footer to choose whether to allow Functional, Analytics, and Targeting/Advertising data collection, then save your preferences. Where a cookie notice is displayed, you can also use Accept, Reject, or Preferences. Some optional features may be unavailable when you decline their cookies. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies; doing so may affect store features or reset saved preferences.

Declining optional cookies limits cookie-based collection. Our website’s Google Analytics integration can still send limited measurements without analytics or advertising cookies when consent is denied. These measurements can include page and event information, technical information sent by your browser, and your consent status, and can be used for measurement and modeling. Rejecting cookies therefore does not stop every transmission of website measurement data.

Google explains its data use and available controls in its Privacy Policy. Its Analytics opt-out browser add-on provides a separate way to limit Google Analytics measurement.

Browser privacy signals

Our website uses the preferences you save through Privacy settings. Legacy “Do Not Track” signals do not currently change our collection practices by themselves. Global Privacy Control is a separate browser signal intended to request an opt-out of certain advertising disclosures. To make an advertising choice directly on this website, select “No” for Targeting/Advertising in Privacy settings; you can also contact Mike Lamb about an opt-out associated with your information.

6. Promotional emails

We send promotional emails, but do not send promotional text messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in a promotional email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary order, shipping, account, or customer-service communications. We may keep a limited unsubscribe record so we can respect your choice.

7. Retention and security

We do not currently use a fixed automatic deletion schedule or routinely delete our customer and business records. Invoices, transaction history, and related accounting records are kept in QuickBooks without a predetermined end date for accounting, tax, order-history, warranty, and other business-record purposes. Customer accounts and support communications may also be retained on an ongoing basis.

Copies of credit-card authorization forms and identification documents may be kept as attachments to records in QuickBooks. Original paper or email copies are deleted after they are saved there. The saved QuickBooks attachments are retained with the associated records rather than under a separate automatic deletion schedule.

We consider requests to delete information as described below, subject to applicable law and any need to keep particular records for legal obligations, transactions, fraud prevention, or the protection of rights. We may retain a limited marketing-suppression record to respect an unsubscribe or other privacy choice.

Our Google Analytics property is currently configured to retain certain event-level data for two months and certain user-level data for fourteen months. New activity can restart the user-data retention period. These settings do not apply to most aggregated reports, which may remain available longer.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security.

8. Access, corrections, deletion, and other privacy requests

You can review or update information available in your store account or contact us to request access, corrections, or deletion. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to obtain information about our practices, receive a copy of your information, correct or delete it, opt out of a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive information, or appeal a decision on a request.

Our privacy contact is Mike Lamb. Send a request to mike@seatechmarineproducts.com, call (619) 222-9613, or use our contact page and ask for Mike. Describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. For access, correction, or deletion requests, we may need to verify your identity. Please do not send payment-card numbers or identity documents with an initial privacy request.

Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent, and we may need proof of that authorization. Some records may need to be retained to complete orders, meet legal obligations, or protect legitimate rights. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable limitation. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. To appeal a decision where that right applies, contact us with “Privacy request appeal” in the subject or description.

9. Children and international visitors

Our website is intended for adult shoppers and business customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

SeaTech is based in the United States, and our paid advertising is directed to the United States. Our website also accepts international orders. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from another country, contact Mike Lamb with questions about the processing of your information or rights available under applicable law.

10. Changes and contact information

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at this address and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for a material change.
