SeaStar HA5404 Capilano Bleed / Bypass Valve

Ball-type bleed valve used in the documented twin-station Capilano filling-and-purging arrangement. It allows trapped air in the lower helm / compensating-line circuit to be displaced during servicing.
The Capilano manual identifies HA5404 as the ball bleed valve used in the twin-station filling and purging arrangement. Its removable handle is a safety feature intended to prevent accidental opening during steering use.
