Dometic SeaStar part number: HC5386-3
Transom-bracket-mounted, unbalanced steering cylinder for the selected Volvo, Yanmar and Mercury sterndrive arrangements in the SeaStar application guide. It mounts to the drive’s transom bracket and tiller arm.
The manufacturer’s current inboard/sterndrive manual shows the transom bracket as an engine-manufacturer component, with the cylinder linking to the drive’s tiller arm. Dometic specifically excludes SeaStar PRO helms for this unbalanced cylinder.
The manufacturer excludes SeaStar PRO helms. Drive model, steering configuration and the guide’s adapter notes determine the installation; this is not a fit claim for every drive from those brands.
