Send us your existing SeaStar hydraulic helm pump for inspection and service. This is work on the part you own; no new complete unit is supplied. We inspect its condition before completing a standard rebuild.
Before ordering: A new helm pump is not included. Different SeaStar helm designs require different parts.
Handling charges: $30 if we must drain the unit; $30 if we must remove attached fittings.
Price scope: The amount above covers only the service described here. Extra work requires your approval before we proceed. Service time starts when the part arrives and is an estimate.

The inbound shipment is your responsibility unless your individual order states otherwise. Return shipping: Added at checkout. Expedited, international and remote-area shipping may differ.
Service Process
- Identify your unit. Check its marking and select the matching service or model option above.
- Place the order. Include the symptoms and order number. For services without online checkout, contact us first.
- We inspect it. If damage, missing parts or a different model changes the price, we contact you for approval.
- We service and return it. The listed turnaround is an estimate after arrival and inspection.
Prepare & Ship
Do not strike the helm shaft or clamp it with vise grips; damaged threads or a marked shaft may need replacement.
Have a qualified technician remove the part following the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. Isolate and safely depressurize hydraulic systems before disconnecting lines. Label and cap the connections. Drain fluid using the manufacturer’s procedure, protect openings and bag the part to contain residual oil.
Pack the unit securely. Put your order number, contact information, model number and a short description of the fault inside the box. Photograph the markings and condition before shipping. You arrange and pay for the shipment to us.
