The ZION-AUTO is the Z-Ion preservation-system version for automated Spectra watermaker systems.
Z-Ion treats the fresh-water flush with silver/copper ions to limit microbial growth in the filters and membrane. The manufacturer describes a 30-day flush interval for compatible updated Spectra Connect systems; follow the watermaker's operating and storage instructions.
Z-Ion is part of the watermaker preservation system used during fresh-water flushing. The automatic and manual versions are separate configurations.
