The Dometic SeaStar HK75004 PRO Hydraulic Steering Kit is the high performance outboard steering package built for single non power assisted outboards up to 350 HP on fast bass boats, flats boats, center consoles, and race or ski hulls. This kit pairs the SeaStar PRO helm with the PRO front mount cylinder for a firm, precise steering feel at speed.

SeaStar PRO Front Mount Helm Pump, 2.0 cu. in. HH5770-4 - PRO front mount helm for 1500 PSI systems, approx. 4.25 turns lock to lock with the PRO cylinder, 3 inch dash cutout, 3/4 inch tapered shaft, and ORB-5 ports.
SeaStar PRO Front Mount Outboard Cylinder HC6345-3 - balanced PRO front mount cylinder with keyed support bracket, heavy duty shaft, pivot bushings, and stainless ORB-5 hose fittings.
SeaStar Hydraulic Steering Fluid HA5430H - two quarts for filling and bleeding the system.
Fill and Bleed Kit HA5438 - bottle adapter and fill / bleed hardware with installation instructions.
SeaStar PRO Hose For an extra cost - add HO57XX or HO69XX hose separately based on your required run length above.

Recommended Applications and Limits

Single Outboard Up to 350 HP (non power assisted) for bass, flats, bay boats, center consoles, and performance ski or race style boats. Primary SeaStar PRO application.
Twin Outboards Up to 700 HP combined (non power assisted) when approved and rigged with the required tie bar kit and correct additional hardware.
Dual Station A second PRO helm, hoses, and fittings can be added for upper / lower helm installations within the same overall application limits.
Typical Speed Range Commonly selected for boats capable of speeds above 65 mph when installed within SeaStar guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the HK7500-4 kit include hoses?
No. The HK7500-4 kit does not include hoses. Add SeaStar PRO hose separately in the length you need, using HO57XX or HO69XX hose assemblies.
What comes in the HK7500-4 kit?
The standard kit includes the HH5770-4 PRO helm pump, HC6345-3 PRO front mount cylinder, two quarts of HA5430H steering fluid, and the HA5438 fill and bleed kit.
What does this kit replace?
The HK7500-4 is the updated -4 generation replacement for earlier HK7500A, HK7500A-3, HK7516, HK7518 etc. kit versions and uses the newer -4 PRO helm design.
Is this kit for power assisted engines?
No. This kit is positioned for non power assisted outboard applications. If your boat has a different steering or assist configuration, confirm the setup before ordering.
Can this kit be used on twin outboards?
Twin engine applications require additional SeaStar components such as the proper tie bar kit and correct application approval. Contact us before ordering for a twin outboard setup.
Will it work with jack plates and performance propellers?
Yes, this is one of the primary reasons customers choose SeaStar PRO, but the complete system still has to be rigged correctly and matched to the specific boat, engine, and performance setup.
